Join the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago this Saturday, September 17th to celebrate health, family and community at Family Fest from 10am to 1pm. The 2nd annual event will take place at the IWS clinic on 3600 W. Fullerton Ave and will include food, fun and live entertainment.
Stop by to enjoy music by Chicago’s AfriCaribe, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Puerto Rican and Caribbean cultures through music, theater and dance. Help IWS support the Orchestra at Monroe School as the children perform their instrumental ensemble. Don’t miss the IWS DJ who will keep the fun flowing while families visit booths and receive valuable community information from Alper Services LLC., Liberty Bank and several community partners.
Kids will have an opportunity to meet a real life Chicago Firefighter from Engine Company 51 and take a tour of the fire truck. Face painting and games will enhance the fun, along with a Zumba dance party and raffle prizes. Raffle basket prizes are provided by the IWS Auxiliary.
